Legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao ( ANR), who is battling with cancer, passed away here on Wednesday. The Dada Saheb Phalke Award winner died in the early hours in Hyderabad today. He was 91. Sources say that ANR's condition worsened at around 1.30 am Wednesday and he was rushed to hospital where he died. The actor is survived by three daughters and two sons.
